New season and a new look for the website. All the old info is here with the menu moving from the left hand side to above. You can still scroll down the right hand side to filter info by month or category.
Please note the change in email address for Speedway Sedans Tasmania:
[email protected] We've undergone a name change to Speedway Sedans Tasmania. The website now reflects this change and will endeavour to continue to bring you all the info you need.
A new menu item has been created for SSA/TSCF Policy documents. The Social Media Policy document has been released by the SSA and is relevant to all clubs, tracks, owners, drivers etc.
"The SSA takes seriously its responsibility in providing guidelines and a policy for its members in relation to what is deemed acceptable and appropriate online ethics and behaviours. Members ofthe SSA, State Associations and Clubs have a responsibility to ensure that all online communicationsare aligned with the Associations expectations in relation to appropriate and respectful interactions with designated officials, technical personnel, track personnel, drivers, pit crews, parents, spectators and sponsors." Please read the full document in the SSA\TSCF POLICY section. A slight restructure of the STATE TITLE HISTORY menu.
The page has been split into 'SSA Classes' and 'Tasmanian Restricted Classes'. The Tasmanian Restricted Classes page has the Bombers State Title Winners with the Tassie 6's to follow. A new photo added to NOSTALGIA section.
"Graeme Smith, on his way to winning the 1st ever State Sedan Title in 1967" A couple of photos have been added in the PHOTO GALLERY section, under NOSTALGIA.
If you have any photos or videos you are willing to share on this site please get in touch with Garry Gale through the contacts page.
Acknowledgement will be given on the site for the photos and will help to showcase the many events, drivers and tracks from around the state and beyond. Pages that are currently live:
- 'Latest News' - 'Contacts' - 'State Title History'. Other pages will be updated as information is confirmed. Our site has only just been constructed and still has a way to go to add all the necessary information and content. Please check back regularly as the site will develop over the coming weeks. Thanks for visiting.
